Meet Your Instructors

Claire Altamura
Co-Founder, Head of Classical & Contemporary Dance

Claire studied classical ballet and contemporary dance at Arts Educational School, London. She has performed, choreographed, and taught in dance companies and schools for over 20 years in the UK, Europe, and the U.S. Companies include Re-Animators Dance Company (London), Springs Dance Company (London) and Redding Civic Dance Company (California). Claire has worked with many renowned Choreographers including Mark Baldwin (Ballet Rambert) and Wayne McGregor (Random Dance). Her choreography in Matters of the Heart received critical acclaim at the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has also choreographed numerous musicals including Might Moses, Wizard of Oz, Pilgrim's Progress and most recently Christmas Carol, A Love Story for the Redding Civic Rep. She lives in Redding with her husband Fabiano, and her children, Bella and Joshua.

Lisa Norona
Co-Founder, Director of Classical & Contemporary Dancee

Theatrical Dance Director Lisa Noroña has travelled the world from Tokyo to Germany, in musicals such as Evita and Rock Carmen, and 48 of the 50 states as a lead in both Jesus Christ Superstar (as Mary Magdalene) and the National Tour of West Side Story. She’s also danced in world-renowned venues, such as Radio City Music Hall (Lion King Premiere, Jasmine) and the Hollywood Bowl (Mulan Premiere). Lisa has also appeared in several musical films, including Cinderella (starring Whitney Houston) and Annie (starring Audra McDonald and Kristin Chenoweth) — both choreographed by award-winning filmmaker Rob Marshall. But her greatest achievement is her marriage to David Noroña and her four children: Zion, Night, Isaiah, and Talita Grace.

Shayna Acosta
Dance Instructor 

Shayna Acosta is from Tulsa, Oklahoma but currently resides in Redding, CA. She is the Associate Director for Link Dance Program with Bethel Conservatory of the Arts, Creative Director of Legacy Creative, Inc. and Owner of The Impossible Movement Workshop. Shayna trained under Dallas Power House, Planet Funk, and Tulsa Ballet. She has a background in Gymnastics, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Jazz Funk, and Break Dancing. As a Gymnastics Coach, she trained under Geza Pozsar the Olympic Floor Routine Choreographer.

Adam Acosta
Dance Instructor 

Adam Acosta started his dance journey as a Popper and Bboy where he quickly became a member of the highly recognized Soul Style Krew. With SSK Adam opened shows for Coolio, Sir Mix a lot, and Jurassic 5. He then joined Triqueta Creative group where at the age of 18 he toured with an original Hip Hop musical called "Roofless". Adam has been a dance professor at Oral Roberts University, and Tulsa University. He has choreographed for MTV music videos, and shared the stage with 4 time Grammy award winner "Israel Houghton".
